Twinkle Kalia, along with her husband Himanshu, has been providing free ambulance services in Delhi for nearly two decades. Their journey began after Himanshu nearly lost his father due to delayed medical treatment. This personal experience motivated them to make a difference in the lives of others.

In March 2015, Twinkle was driving her ambulance with her six-month-old daughter when she noticed a group of people rushing towards her. They were carrying an unconscious boy who had lost a leg and was bleeding heavily. Without hesitation, Twinkle took the boy to the hospital within just four minutes. The doctor later confirmed that any further delay would have cost the boy his life1.

Since then, the couple has worked tirelessly to help those in need. They operate under a trust called “Shahid Bhagat Singh Help and Care for Society.” Beyond ferrying patients, they go above and beyond their duty by fetching medicines, arranging funerals, and even performing last rites when necessary2.
